To the three of you: please bear in mind that I’m doing my damndest not to issue caveat after caveat as I write this post.

At three o’clock this morning, when my Vertua redesign went live, it seemed oddly significant that the chorus of KT Tunstall’s Suddenly I See was blasting through my office speakers. It’s a simple, raucous little song that seems perfect for driving far too fast down an open highway with the windows down—or, you know, launching a site that is six months overdue.

A savvy self-marketer, I am not.

At any rate, it feels good to finally have Vertua up and running. Granted, there are a small number of issues I’m ironing out (a print stylesheet is currently lacking; several IE 5.5/Win bugfixes need attention; I should really spend more than three minutes on the site’s copy; I need a publicity photo that won’t terrify small children), but hey: it’s a work in progress, and I’m looking forward to tweaking it over the coming months.

Anyway. There’s more I could say here, but I’ll leave it at this: it does feel damned good to have a place where I can discuss the projects I’m proudest of. Or rather, “of which I’m proudest"…meh, whatever.

Hooray, technical difficulties.

There’s a WordPress issue that’s currently preventing old comments from displaying correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully we’ll be back online soon.
