Elsewhere

Seems that Opera.com has jumped on the bandwagon; their site has been redesigned with XHTML 1.0 strict for the markup, with CSS handling the presentation layer. Nicely done…I’m really looking forward to v7.0.

Love it — grazie to Saint Matthew for the link.

I think I’m probably going to toss the MySQL backend on this site altogether, and pour the weblog (such as it is) into XML, and use PHP to handle the transformation. We’ll have to see…I know about .073 things about both technologies right now, but I think it’d be a pretty saucy project to undertake. If anybody out there (from among all six of you) has any recommendations about how to make that happen, let me know.

Currently reading: XML 1.1 has come out to play.

Hooray, technical difficulties.

There’s a WordPress issue that’s currently preventing old comments from displaying correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully we’ll be back online soon.
