- Exactly one thousand words

In his latest essay, A Picture Worth Exactly One Thousand Words, Garret Keizer delivers yet another great read — or in the case of this audio essay, an incredible listen. An angry yet artful invective against the tortures at Abu Ghraib, Keizer lets his political leanings bleed into his writing, much more so than any of his other works. It’s a powerful, disturbing, beautiful piece: one I’d highly recommend listening to over a cup of coffee, perhaps with a side of righteous indignation.
The audio essay requires Flash, but there’s a text-only version as well if that’s your thang.
