With a houseguest arriving in exactly one week, it becomes frightfully clear just how ass-poor I am at playing host.1 Whereas the typical evening at casa de sidesh0w involves some combination of Photoshop, CSS, They Might Be Giants, and Chinese food leftovers, the thought has occurred to me that such an itinerary might not appeal to those of the not-me variety. Especially those visiting Boston for the first time. Especially since I hope not to alienate the fuck out of them ‘pon their first visit to the area.
At any rate, I’ve a week of brainstorming ahead of me — hopefully I’ll think of something before the pastoral programmer steps off the plane. There is, I suppose, the possibility of installing SubEthaEdit and co-coding some crazy CSS…there but for the grace of geek go I.
Anyway, don’t stop believin’, and have a fine weekend.
