Weblog entry:

A day of illness is excellent for pining after the not-yet-shipped PowerBook, and for compiling a few Mac OSX links for my (and your) archival purposes:
- Cool calendar hack. Via Adactio.
- Mac OSX for Geeks. While I’m not much more than a wannabe geek, this page is a treasure trove of kickass-looking applications, such as iTerm and Fink.
- Vim for Mac OSX. Check out the walkthrough under
Important:
to reinstate oh-so-sexy tab completion. - A great tutorial for setting up SSH tunneling.
- The finer points of getting Samba running on OSX in a mixed-OS environment.
- Desktop Manager seems to do the trick for multiple desktops.
- Show Desktop seems pretty invaluable to those of us
slumming itaccustomed to this functionality on Windows.
Here endeth the bookmarks. Hope someone besides me can use a few. And as ever, if you’ve got any helpful links of your own, I’d love to hear them.
