Apologies to the three of you for the radio silence over the past few days. I’d been working a bit overtime-ish (and, of course, last minute-ish) on another presentation about standards-based design. Of course, as luck and my immune system would have it, I manage to work myself into a cold on the day of the presentation.
A few e-mails sent, apologies delivered, and the presentation’s rescheduled. Almost surgical, that process. Of course, at the end of it, I’m left feeling like the common cold and the hantavirus are playing half-court basketball in my head.
Wow. Metaphors on Robitussin. Not good.
Anyway, the presentation’s due out in a couple weeks. I’m rather excited, as it’s for Harvard’s central IS group, and they seem really interested in what standards can do for them and their clients. And the other bonus is that one of the slides has a picture of Bootsy Collins on it.
You know the world needs to see that.
