Weblog entry:

Death of Netscape, continued.

Understandably, there’s been flurry of postings on the web in the past ~12 hours on the Mozilla Foundation-cum-Netscape dismantling. Some of the more worthwhile posts can be found via a post at the Web Standards Project: of especial note are Douglas Bowman’s thoughts. Also worth reading is the WaSP’s article on regaining a little perspective, for those of us who haven’t stopped sobbing uncontrollably into our keyboard.

Or something.

In one of the more constructive posts to come out of yesterday’s corporate hoo-hah, Anil’s got an interesting suggestion for Google…maybe you, and they, should take a look.

There’s a WordPress issue that’s currently preventing old comments from displaying correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully we’ll be back online soon.
