Weblog entry:
- Ethan’s back. Back again.

Recently added to the list of Things I Must Do Before Kicking It: live in England for an extended (i.e., greater than 7 days) period of time. I’ve already given up on this blog post accurately capturing just how much fun I had — hopefully, the pictures will do the trip some justice.
And you guessed it: as with everything else that I mention on this site, the pictures are forthcoming. Just putting the finishing touches on a CMS for ‘em. Really, I am. Go away.
So what happened while I was gone? Let’s recap:
- New York and Boston both lost their minds. Soon we’ll be drinking nothing but Sprite in our bars.
- Mozilla publishes a new development roadmap — possibly a Very Good Thing. IE pretends to care, and web UI development still doesn’t make any sense.
- The internet produced yet another website that makes me want to simultaneously laugh and cry.
- Via Eric Meyer: the best damn set of bookmarklets available. I wholeheartedly recommend

A solid week, all things considered. Nicely done, Internet. Good job. <doles out a cookie>
Just came back from a presentation by Dave Winer over at Harvard, where he’s currently evangelizing the use of blogs (and, I’m sure, Manila) as a powerful education tool. His first efforts seem impressive — it’ll be interesting to see how well Harvard’s tech community (which still thinks ColdFusion and Web Crossing are Pretty Cool Ideas) takes to it. Rock on, Mr. Winer.
